Tire studding helps improve traction on icy roads by adding metal studs to compatible winter tires. If you drive in harsh winter conditions, rural roads, steep areas, or frequently deal with ice, studded tires can provide extra grip and confidence during the colder months. At Sprint Tire & Rim in Dartmouth, we offer tire studding for eligible winter tires. Our team checks whether the tire is suitable for studding and installs the studs properly to help support safer winter driving. Not every tire can be studded. Tire eligibility depends on the tire design, condition, and whether it is manufactured with stud holes. Pricing may vary based on tire size, tire condition, and the number of tires being studded.
